People ask me why I don't just wear a mask.
There are a few reasons for this:
- I am larger than most of the population and finding a mask to fit properly is difficult
- Masks are not effective for prolonged exposure from personal experience as well as per this study.
- Masks can provide their own irritations. I currently use the 3M 8247 since it fits when driving and filling my vehicle and find that I get a burning sensation in the area the mask covers due to the material it is made from.
- The government is suspicious of people who run around wearing full hazmat suits and a space suit would be too bulky.
You're single, why don't you have a girlfriend?
I wouldn't mind having a girlfriend but I am only looking for a long term commitment and she needs to meet the 3 Double C's.

- I'm not into drama. I prefer someone who says what is on their mind. If it is the truth I won't take offense but be prepared to defend what you say if I disagree. I will be swayed by a solid, sensible argument.
- Someone who can work with another point of view if necessary and is good at the things I'm not and vice versa.
- Believes in the 60/40 rule in a relationship. Be prepared to give 60% and only expect 40%, this goes for both parties. That way neither one feels slighted. Most of the enduring marriages I have seen go beyond this.
- A teammate that is willing to take me as I am.
